PebblePad and Graduate Attributes

PebblePad provides an effective mechanism for students to evidence the development of Graduate Attributes (GA) or Employability Skills.

Tags

PebblePad uses ‘Tags’ instead of folders to group assets. An institution can add the Graduate Attributes (or Employability Skills) as the default tags for all users. Students can be encouraged, in all their activities, to tag each asset they create with one or more of the GAs. A tags can be used to aggregate assets by adding it as a pages in a webfolio. All assets with that tag will then appear in a list on the page. It is therefore very easy for students to create a webfolio with one GA on each page, that lists all the related evidence (assets) in chronological order.

Profiler

Institutions can also create a profile that contains the Graduate Attributes (or Employability Skills) as items and make this available to all students through PebblePad. Across their time at the institution students can rate their progress towards the development of the GAs and add evidence to support their ratings. The profile can be shared with colleagues or tutors at any time for comment.
